The JTS Brawn gives you a PCP air rifle in a bullpup format that’s easier to maneuver than the larger rifles in the lineup but with nearly identical performance. You’ll get speeds up to 980 fps in .177, 900 fps in .22, 860 fps in .25, and 830 fps in .30 to give you the power you need for pesting, plinking, and small game hunting.
You’ll like the steady speeds you get from the air rifle, thanks to the fact that each shot is fully regulated, so you can depend on its performance. You’ll also appreciate that the shots are quieter than expected for an air rifle at this power level because of the shrouded barrel.
The JTS Brawn gives you an attractive bullpup thumbhole stock made from solid wood, with laser etched checkering on the forearm and pistol grip to give you a firm hold. It also gives you a smooth sidelever for easy cycling of the all metal magazine, and a rubber buttpad for comfort.
This model gives you a fill gauge and a regulator gauge like the previous versions, now with an upgraded reversible pressure gauge near the end of the barrel facing you, so you can constantly monitor the expected performance of each shot without having to turn the gun or change your aim. For adding your favorite scope, this air rifle comes with a Picatinny scope rail.
The JTS Brawn Bullpup PCP Air Rifle is a maneuverable version of the previous successful airguns in the lineup. Capable of reaching velocities up to 980 FPS in .177, 900 FPS in .22, 860 FPS in .25, and 830 FPS in .30, this airgun provides effective performance for pest control, small-game hunting, and plinking.
The air rifle delivers steady shots with stable velocity because it is fully regulated, so it offers dependable performance from every shot. It also has a shrouded barrel for quiet shots.
The JTS Brawn has the same reservoir fill pressure gauge and regulator pressure gauge from the earlier airguns in the lineup, with an upgrade that makes the pressure gauge reversible and places it near the end of the barrel facing the shooter for the ability to constantly monitor the performance of each shot. In addition, this PCP air rifle has a solid wood bullpup thumbhole stock with generous and handsome laser-engraved checkering on the forearm and the pistol grip for a stable hold, and the textured rubber buttpad provides simple and comfortable control.
To provide accurate sighting options, this air rifle uses a metal Picatinny optics rail to allow the addition of a scope or other optics. The wooden cheekpiece helps with comfortable eye alignment, and the sidelever offers reliable performance.
This JTS Brawn bullpup PCP rifle is made entirely of metal and it has a beautifully finished wood stock. It has a barrel with a length of 437 mm and it has a total length of 838 mm. The Brawn has a robust design and it weighs roughly 4220 grams, which can be attributed to the full metal and wood construction. And yet, the air rifle feels great to hold in your hands. The wood stock features an ergonomic pistol-style grip with pre-moulded finger grooves and a rough, lasered texture on both sides. That texture is also lasered into the sides of the fore-end and it provides slightly more grip. The stock has a thumb-hole, which allows for comfortable shooting and the wood cheek rest, too, is very comfortable. The rubber butt-plate on the back of the JTS Brawn provides more stability, which vastly improves accuracy.
The JTS Brawn bullpup doesn’t have sights of its own, but it instead comes equipped with a Weaver/Picatinny scope rail. That scope rail allows you to easily mount a scope onto the PCP rifle that fits its accurate range. This PCP rifle is available in various calibres, each with a different magazine and a corresponding magazine capacity:
The JTS Brawn uses a PCP cylinder with a fill pressure of 220 bar / 3200 PSI to shoot those pellets and the cylinder is located right below the barrel shroud. The barrel shroud and the cylinder are connected with a barrel band towards the front of the barrel shroud, which is also where you’ll find a pressure gauge. That pressure gauge can be reversed from left to right, so the shooter can always keep an eye on it. The regulated system ensures consistent shot power, as long as the pressure is adequate. There’s a pressure gauge on the side of the rifle, which can be used to check the regulator’s fill pressure.
The JTS Brawn bullpup features an adjustable 2-stage trigger, which allows you to adjust it as you see fit. There’s a manual safety located right in front of the trigger, housed within the trigger guard. Its placement allows you to easily reach and manipulate it with your trigger finger, so you won’t have to change your hands’ positions.
