It gives you low dispersion HD glass with an updated optical system for vivid and intense views, and advanced fully multicoated lenses with XPL protective coating that resists oil and scratches better than standard coatings.

You’ll appreciate the improved turrets with firm clicks you can feel because they’re made with stainless steel internal parts for toughness, and the precision zero stop on the elevation turret makes it fast and simple for you to get back to your zero without looking. You can adjust both turrets up to 32 MIL, with 10 MIL per turn and .1 MIL clicks.

The Athlon Optics Ares BTR Gen2 HD 2.5-15×50 is waterproof, shockproof, and argon purged to give you extra fogproofing compared to lesser scopes. The APRS5 FFP (first focal plane) MIL reticle gives you etched glass for performance in all conditions, and crosshairs and hash marks for 9 mils in every direction, plus a Christmas tree shape of holdover dots and markings, and a small center dot. You can turn on the illuminated reticle for the 9 mil part using variable brightness settings.
