The FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper takes an already great bullpup air rifle and makes it even better. It’s packed with upgrades, the biggest of which is the superior control you now have over hammer spring tension thanks to the rear adjuster dial. It has 7 presets, but you can also fine tune it even further with the Allen wrench hole in the 8th dial position. FX also boosted the main block with increased plenum volume and valving, giving you better airflow and additional more powerful and consistent shots. The magazine received a major improvement as well, as this airgun now uses the same FX Side-Shot magazine as the Crown and Dreamline, giving you more than twice the rounds as the Wildcat MKII. This air rifle comes standard with FX’s new Superior STX liner, an improved version of the older STX liner that allows you to swap liners and calibers, and a 1/2″ UNF threaded muzzle lets you add a moderator. The Wildcat has even more additions, including a regulator pressure gauge in the stock that supplements the one at the end of the air tube. Plus, the MKII’s 11mm dovetail optics rail is replaced by a new standard Picatinny rail. The biggest difference between this Sniper version and the Compact model is the size, both of the air cylinder and the barrel. You get more shots since the air tube is 70cc larger and more velocity because the barrel is 200mm longer, and the whole air rifle is only 11″ longer and .75 lbs. heavier than the Compact version. Both models keep features that shooters already love, like the legendary adjustable two stage trigger, externally adjustable AMP regulator, and smooth cocking sidelever. Introducing the new and vastly improved FX Wildcat MkIII BT!

The iconic airgun bullpup, the FX Wildcat, now comes with power and air capacity to handle slugs and heavier pellets in all their various shapes and sizes. The form and function of this epic airgun has made it the favorite off-hand hunting PCP the last 7 years.

The enhanced power comes courtesy of the massive 89cc Power Plenum, nestled in the stock of the Wildcat. This large plenum really caters towards slug and heavy pellets. Effectively extending both the muzzle energy and thus the range in which you can use this new and powerful Wildcat. (Those preferring classic sized pellets are better served by the standard Wildcat MKIII).

Taming this massive power center and refining accuracy, is accomplished using dual FX AMP Regulators. The first AMP regulator is placed just after the carbon fiber bottle (aluminum bottle on the lower priced VP version) to reduce the initial pressure in preparation for the second regulator. This provides less stress as well as allowing the use of 300 BAR bottles. The second AMP regulator allows the precise amount of air needed for consistency with each shot. Combined with the world’s most competition winning barrel system (the FX Smooth Twist X Barrel System), this ensures you have the most accurate rifle possible in your hands!

Complete adjustability is in your hands with the Wildcat MkIII BT! Both regulators are externally adjustable, and the rear power adjuster makes dialing in the right power easy to adjust for shifting hunting situations. A shooter can shift from the higher speeds needed for a long outdoor shot to dialing down the power for a shot taken in a barn or for target practice in the backyard. This rear power adjuster also allows quick micro and macro adjustments to fine tune the desired speed for the projectile you are shooting.

FX Wildcat owners also have the option of using the FX Wildcat Slug Power Kit (sold separately) that allows for even more power and velocities to tailor to heavier projectiles.

The FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper includes a precise air regulator and a magazine system that is easy to load. The high-grade aluminium air cylinder that sports a durable new tactical finish. Many hours of labour have gone into this fingerprint-resistant finish.

The cocking lever has been engineered with the highest quality materials to provide the smoothest operation possible. Forward placement of the charging lever facilitates the quickest and simplest actuation. The action is nestled into a durable synthetic stock with soft-touch coating for all-weather comfort. This stock comes to point quickly and the scope rail design places the shooter’s eye in a comfortable and proper position to eliminate parallax error.

This FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper features the Superior Smooth Twist X barrel, consisting of a barrel outer with interchangeable liners. These easy to replace liners are available in different calibres, different twists and different lengths. The Superior STX liner has rifling over the whole length of the barrel, pressed in from the outside to keep the bore as smooth as possible. Having interchangeable liners will let you optimise the Wildcat MKIII to your exact needs, resulting in de best grouping possible for light and heavy pellets and everything in between.

The size of the plenum has increased compared to the one on its predecessor, as have the valve and the airflow. The FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper also features a new power adjuster at the rear with which both large and refined adjustments can be made. It has seven basic settings and in the eighth position a small hole opens up in which an allen key can be put to make adjustments in every direction on your own account, giving you the possibility to make adjustments that are fully in sync with the settings you make on the externally adjustable AMP regulator. These combined adjustment possibilities enable you to find the perfect setup for every calibre.

Another improvement is the fact the FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper now utilizes the FX SideShot magazine. Instead of 8 shots, you now have -depending on calibre- almost double the amount. Of course, the well-loved adjustable 2-stage trigger remained, as are the two pressure gauges (pressure tube and regulator). The FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper comes as standard with a shrouded barrel and we supply it including a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail. Also, the muzzle features an outer 1/2 UNF thread which provides for the option of a moderator.
