The Umarex Gauntlet 2 SL is the next evolution of the airgun that changed the industry and raised expectations about what was possible for performance without breaking the bank. This upgraded model gives you plenty of power for small game hunting, pest control, or target practice.
The air tank is the upgrade you’ll spot right away, since it’s noticeably larger than the one on the older model. At 24 cubic inches, it has almost double the volume of the previous version, so you’ll get more shots. It also fills to a higher pressure of 4500 psi, which lets the regulator operate at 2800 psi so you get higher power as well.
The new sidelever action features a large knurled handle with and makes cocking easier than ever. Another improvement is the use of a four baffle design, so you get shots that are 8 dB quieter than before even though they’re faster and more powerful.
The Umarex Gauntlet 2 SL PCP Air Rifle is the eagerly-anticipated updated version of the airgun that helped set a new standard for affordable accuracy and power. This model has the necessary power for pest control and small game hunting.
The improvement shooters will appreciate the most is the larger air tank, with 24 cubic inches of volume, and higher fill and regulator pressure. These increases lead to more shots and more power compared to the older model.
The new sidelever action features a large knurled handle with and makes cocking easier than ever! The all-weather synthetic stock has been redesigned to make it lighter and more compact. Despite the added power and shots, the air rifle is now quieter when shooting due to a four baffle design that reduces the sound of a shot by 8 dB over the original Gauntlet.
The amazingly popular Umarex Gauntlet platform evolves again, this time with the addition of a smooth side lever action. The Gauntlet 2 SL25 (.25 caliber) continues to use the same 8-Shot auto indexing rotary Gauntlet magazine that you may already be familiar with and the same all-weather ergonomic FDE color stock that was debuted with the Gauntlet 2. Attach the precision optic of your choice to the combination dovetail/Picatinny scope rail and start slinging your favorite .25 caliber pellet or airgun slug at targets downrange. The Gauntlet 2 SL25 produces 55 foot pounds of energy (FPE) and will send a 25 grain pellet out of the muzzle at 1,000 FPS. If you’re new to PCP rifles, you’ll need a high-pressure air source, meaning an airgun air compressor that will compress air up to 4,500 psi, like the Umarex ReadyAir. An external carbon fiber airgun tank that you can have filled at a paintball shop, some scuba shops, and some airsoft fields/stores is an option. A high-pressure airgun handpump is also an option for those in good physical shape.
